Spicy Chili Paprika BBQ Sauce

A fiery BBQ sauce with roasted peppers and chili that adds a spicy depth to any grilled dish.

Preparation
10 MinutenPeel and deseed the roasted peppers, then roughly chop them. Finely chop the garlic.
Sautéing
5 MinutenSauté garlic in a pot with a little oil over medium heat for 2 minutes, then add tomato paste and roast for another 2 minutes.
Simmering
15 MinutenAdd peppers, chipotle chilies, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper. Simmer everything over low heat for 15 minutes.
Blending and Seasoning
5 MinutenBlend the sauce smooth with a hand blender, season with salt and pepper and thin with a little water to desired consistency if needed.
Pro Tip
Roast the peppers in the oven at 220°C until the skin blackens – this gives the sauce an intense smoky flavor.
