Smoky Jalapeño Ranch Dressing

A creamy ranch dressing with fresh jalapeño heat and a deep smoky note – perfect as a dip or salad dressing at the BBQ.
Ingredients(for 0.5 kg)
Mayonnaise200 g
Buttermilk150 ml
Sour Cream100 g
Fresh Jalapeños60 g
Smoked Paprika8 g
Garlic Powder5 g
Lemon Juice20 ml
Salt5 g

Preparation
5 MinutenWash jalapeños, remove the stem and roughly chop. Remove the seeds for milder heat.

Blending
3 MinutenAdd jalapeños, mayonnaise, buttermilk, sour cream and lemon juice to the blender and puree for 30 seconds until creamy.

Seasoning
2 MinutenAdd smoked paprika, garlic powder and salt, blend briefly again and taste for seasoning.

Resting
60 MinutenPour the dressing into a sealed container and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Pro Tip
Remove jalapeño seeds for milder heat or leave them in for a real kick. Smoked paprika is the key to the deep smoky note.
