Peach fruit leather is a natural fruit snack made by slowly dehydrating pureed peach flesh. The natural sweetness of the peaches becomes intensely concentrated. The result is a chewy, aromatic fruit leather.

Ingredients(for 1 kg)

Peaches (ripe, pitted)1000 g
Lemon juice30 ml
Honey20 g
Ground cinnamon2 g

Preparation

15 min.

Wash peaches, halve, pit and cut into pieces. Blend with lemon juice, honey and cinnamon into a smooth puree.

Spreading

10 min.

Spread the puree evenly about 3-4 mm thick onto parchment-lined dehydrator trays or sheets. Leave edges slightly thicker.

Dehydrating

8-12 hours

Set the dehydrator to 60-65 °C and dry the peach leather for 8-12 hours until it is no longer sticky and can be peeled from the sheet.

Cooling and Storage

30 min.

Let the leather cool completely, cut into strips and roll up airtight in cling film. Store in a cool, dry place.

Pro Tip

The peach leather is done when it peels cleanly from the sheet and is no longer sticky.
