Horseradish Cream Sauce

A creamy, zesty horseradish sauce that pairs perfectly with roast beef, pulled beef or smoked brisket.
Ingredients(for 0.5 kg)
Sour Cream200 g
Crème Fraîche150 g
Prepared Horseradish80 g
Dijon Mustard20 g
Lemon Juice15 ml
Salt5 g
Black Pepper freshly ground2 g
Fresh Chives15 g

Preparation
2 MinutenWash the chives, pat dry and cut into fine rings.

Mixing
3 MinutenStir sour cream, crème fraîche, horseradish and Dijon mustard in a bowl until smooth.

Seasoning
2 MinutenSeason with lemon juice, salt and pepper, then fold in the chives.

Resting
30 MinutenCover the sauce and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
Pro Tip
For extra heat, use freshly grated horseradish – the difference compared to jarred horseradish is enormous. The sauce keeps refrigerated for up to 5 days.
