Instructions

1

Preparation

30 min.

Peel all garlic cloves and cut into uniform slices of 2-3 mm thickness using a sharp knife or mandoline. The more uniform the slices, the more evenly they will dry.

2

Dehydrating

12-18 hours

Spread garlic slices in a single layer on the dehydrator trays. Set the dehydrator to 55-60 °C. Dry until the slices are completely brittle and dry with no softness remaining.

3

Grinding and Storing

10 min.

Grind cooled slices into a fine powder using a coffee grinder or a powerful blender. Sift through a fine sieve and grind any residue again. Store in airtight dark jars.

Pro Tip

Garlic smells very intense during drying. Choose a well-ventilated spot or an outdoor area. The finished powder has a shelf life of 12 months.
