A deep brown, aromatic Asian glaze with hoisin sauce and the distinctive aroma of five spice powder.
Ingredients(for 0.5 kg)
Hoisin Sauce200 ml
Soy Sauce80 ml
Sesame Oil30 ml
Honey60 g
Rice Wine Vinegar40 ml
Five Spice Powder5 g
Garlic, pressed10 g
Fresh Ginger, grated15 g

Preparation
3 MinutenPress garlic and finely grate ginger. Measure and prepare all ingredients.

5 MinutenCombine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil while stirring constantly.

5 MinutenReduce heat and let the glaze simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened and coating the spoon.

2 MinutenRemove from heat, let cool briefly and fill into a clean jar. Keeps refrigerated for 2 weeks.
