1,5 Std.Place sweet potatoes directly on the grate and smoke for 1.5 hours at constant temperature. Regularly add wood chips to ensure consistent smoke production.
Glazing
30 Min.After 1.5 hours, brush sweet potatoes with the cinnamon honey glaze and smoke for a further 30 minutes until the glaze caramelizes and the potatoes are completely soft.
Serving
5 Min.Cut smoked sweet potatoes lengthwise, top with a knob of butter and drizzle with remaining cinnamon honey glaze. Serve immediately while warm.
Pro Tip
The sweet potatoes are done when they yield to pressing and a sticky juice seeps from the fork holes. Maple wood perfectly enhances the natural sweetness of the potato.
