Grilled Halloumi Cypriot Style with Mint and Lemon

Classic Cypriot halloumi, grilled and finished with fresh mint and lemon juice.
Ingredients(for 0.5 kg)
Halloumi400 g
Lemon juice30 ml
Fresh mint10 g
Olive oil20 ml
Black pepper2 g

Preparation
10 Min.Cut halloumi into 1 cm thick slices and marinate with lemon juice and olive oil for 10 minutes.

Grilling
5-6 Min.Preheat grill to high direct heat (200-220°C) and grill halloumi slices for 2-3 minutes per side.

Plating
2 Min.Arrange grilled halloumi on a plate, sprinkle with fresh mint and drizzle with a little lemon juice.
Pro Tip
Only flip the halloumi when it releases easily from the grill – this ensures perfect grill marks.
