Stout Beer200 ml
Ketchup150 ml
Brown Sugar50 g
Worcestershire Sauce30 ml
Apple Cider Vinegar30 ml
Smoked Paprika10 g
Garlic Powder5 g
Black Pepper3 g

Preparation

Measure and prepare all ingredients. Preheat a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Building the Base

Add ketchup, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce to the pot, stirring over heat until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Adding the Stout

Stir in the stout beer and apple cider vinegar. Add smoked paprika, garlic powder and black pepper, mixing everything thoroughly.

Simmering

20 Minuten

Simmer the sauce over low to medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring regularly, until the desired consistency is reached.

Bottling

10 Minuten

Remove the finished sauce from heat, let cool for 10 minutes and pour into sterilized jars or bottles.

Pro Tip

Use an Imperial Stout for a more intense malt flavor and greater depth in the sauce.
