Cinnamon Apple Rings

Preparation
15 minutesWash, peel, and core the apples. Slice into uniform rings 3-4 mm thick using a mandoline slicer or sharp knife.
Soaking
5 minutesBriefly dip apple rings in lemon water, drain, and pat dry with paper towels. Mix cinnamon, raw sugar, and vanilla sugar together and sprinkle evenly over the rings.
Dehydrating
8-12 hoursPlace apple rings side by side (not overlapping) on dehydrator trays. Dehydrate at 60-70 °C until the rings are pliably dry or crispy, according to preference.
Cooling & Storage
30 minutesAllow apple rings to cool completely at room temperature. Store in airtight jars or bags in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.
Pro Tip
Slice apples evenly thin (3-4 mm) for uniform drying time. A mandoline slicer is ideal.
