Pineapple Jalapeño BBQ Sauce

Cooking
5 MinutenSauté pineapple, jalapeños and pressed garlic in a saucepan with a splash of oil over medium heat for 5 minutes until the pineapple lightly caramelizes.
Simmering
15 MinutenAdd ketchup, brown sugar, white wine vinegar and lime juice. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Seasoning and Bottling
5 MinutenBlend the sauce finely with an immersion blender. If desired, pass through a sieve for an extra smooth consistency, season to taste and fill into clean jars.
