Creamy and tangy Southern US classic based on mayonnaise with horseradish and apple cider vinegar.

Mayonnaise300 g
Apple Cider Vinegar60 ml
Horseradish (grated)30 g
Lemon Juice20 ml
Worcestershire Sauce15 ml
Black Pepper (ground)5 g
Cayenne Pepper2 g
Salt5 g

Preparation

Place mayonnaise in a mixing bowl and add apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.

Add horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, cayenne pepper and salt, then stir until smooth.

60 Minuten

Cover the finished sauce and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Pro Tip

The sauce tastes even better the next day – simply let it rest overnight in the refrigerator.
