Alabama White BBQ Sauce

A creamy, mayonnaise-based BBQ sauce with horseradish and vinegar, typical of the US state of Alabama.

Mayonnaise300 g
Apple Cider Vinegar80 ml
Horseradish (grated)30 g
Lemon Juice20 ml
Black Pepper (ground)5 g
Salt5 g
Cayenne Pepper2 g

3 MinutenPlace mayonnaise in a bowl and stir in apple cider vinegar and lemon juice until a homogeneous mixture forms.

3 MinutenAdd grated horseradish, black pepper, cayenne pepper and salt, then stir everything thoroughly.

60 MinutenCover the finished sauce and let it rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Pro Tip
The sauce tastes especially good as a dip for smoked chicken or as a dressing for coleslaw.
